  • How long should I stay in the cold plunge?

    If you are a beginner, start with 30 seconds to one minute and then work your way up to 2-5 minutes. We recommend around 11 minutes either once a week or spread out through the week. Studies have shown that there isn’t any benefit doing longer than that.

  • Should I bring a towel?

    You totally can but we also provide towels.

  • Can I plunge with a friend?

    Yes - you can add up to two people to your 15 minute session for $5 extra/person. If you want to plunge with 3 or more friends you would book out an extra 15 minute time block per 2 people. You are, however, booking it for 15 minutes so if you plan on being inside the plunge for 10+ minutes you each will need your own session.

    We recommend one person in the plunge at a time and taking turns so that the plunge doesn’t overflow.

  • Do ice baths help you lose weight?

    Yes, through cold thermogenesis. When our body is exposed to cold, it triggers a number of changes in order to maintain our core temperature. Cold thermogenesis increases energy expenditure, increases brown fat, promotes cell longevity, reduces blood sugar and boosts metabolism
